Months Devoted to Dental Health & Senior Pet Care

As summer draws to a close, the doctors and staff of the Palm City Animal Clinic are looking forward to strengthening the health care bond between you and your pets. It is time for the Palm City Animal Clinic’s Annual Dental Care and Senior Care Months.

Each year the Palm City Animal Clinic sets aside this special time to focus on two very important pet-related issues: Dental Care and Senior Pet Care.

Positive demand in past years has been so great, that our Dental Care and Senior Care specials will be available for the months of September and October.

During these months, we will be offering your pets’ teeth cleaning, polishing, and blood work for 15% off. Dental disease is one of the most overlooked problems in our pets. In fact, prolonged dental disease can cause tooth loss and difficulty eating; as well as heart, kidney, and liver infections. Regular examinations, home dental preventative care, and dental cleanings when needed can help prevent the serious effects of dental disease in our pets.

Our senior pets will be offered the choice of two excellent Senior Care Packages with 15 to 20% off. These Senior Diagnostic Exams are vital in the early detection and intervention of age related diseases and organ system failure allowing our pets to live longer, happier, higher quality lives.

We often fail to recognize how quickly our pets are aging and that in just 6 months our pets have aged the equivalent of 2-5 years! Therefore regular check-ups are especially important.

We are offering two levels of senior diagnostics for your pets. They both provide full body and organ analysis by utilizing a comprehensive physical exam, blood chemistry panel, complete blood count, thyroid screening, urinalysis, and fecal examination. The more extensive package will also include a full chest x-ray and EKG for a more in-depth evaluation of the heart and lungs.

As our pets age, we must pay closer attention to their needs so that we can provide them with a full and happy life.
